Summer (June – August): The Wind Machine
If you want 25+ knots almost every day, summer is your time.
Wind: This is the peak season with the highest wind statistics (up to 90% of days are windy).
Conditions: It is hot on land, but the sea breeze makes it tolerable on the water.

Why go: The crowds are smaller than in summer, and the atmosphere at the Five Squares station is incredibly cozy. It’s the best time for long sessions followed by sunsets at our beach center.
Winter (December – February): The Refresh
Winter in Dahab is for those who prefer a cooler climate and less crowded spots.
Wind: Driven by pressure systems, it can be very strong but less predictable than in summer.
What to bring: A 3/2mm or 4/3mm wetsuit is essential as water temperatures drop to around 21°C.
